The Job
Auldern Academy is seeking talented individuals to help drive the success of youth in our communities. As a Youth Night Worker you will provide direct supervision to adolescent females ages 14 -18. You will serve as a role model and provide support & structure to the residents in our care. This is a full-time position, with benefits, for weekend overnights. Hours are F, S, S - 10:30pm-8:30am.

Snapshot of Nightly Duties

  • Provide safety during student sleeping hours and assiststudents having trouble sleeping.
  • Perform room checks, ensuring each student is in theirown bed and sleeping.
  • Maintain routine order on dorm unit and ensure the residents get ready in the morning.
  • Provide notes for the day-time staff regarding matters that occurred overnight.

Auldern Academy is part of the Sequel Youth and Family Services group and is an accredited college preparatory, therapeutic boarding school for girls grades 9-12. We provide a traditional academic environment along with group, individual, and family counseling services. We utilize aspects of Positive Peer Culture and the relational approach to treatment planning; engaging the student and her family members as genuine partners to motivate the change process in our students andfamilies. We provide students with astructured daily environment that includes chores, a full academic day, therapy sessions, recreationalactivities, and life skills.
