Job Description
Purpose
Visa Direct offers a range of services designed to streamline and enhance the process of transferring funds for individuals, businesses, and financial institutions.
As a Manager, Account Management, you will support the day-to-day management and growth of assigned Visa Direct enterprise client relationships. This role partners closely with Senior Managers, Directors, and broader account teams to execute account strategies, support revenue growth initiatives, and strengthen client engagement across Visa Direct offerings. The Manager will work cross-functionally to help deliver client solutions, identify opportunities, and contribute to improved money movement outcomes for assigned clients.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
  • Support day-to-day interactions with assigned enterprise clients and serve as a reliable point of contact for operational, commercial, and product-related discussions.

  • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and internal partners, escalating issues and opportunities to Senior Managers or Directors as appropriate.

Account Growth & Execution
  • Support account growth by helping identify expansion opportunities across Visa Direct products, including upsell and cross-sell initiatives.

  • Contribute to account planning activities and support execution against financial and volume goals for assigned clients.

Commercial Support & Contracting
  • Assist with commercial discussions and contract processes in partnership with Senior Managers, Directors, Legal, and Commercial teams.

  • Help ensure client agreements align with Visa policies and client needs.

Client Satisfaction & Retention
  • Support high client satisfaction by coordinating issue resolution, tracking service-related follow-ups, and supporting ongoing engagement activities.

  • Act as a client advocate internally to help ensure timely and effective delivery.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Support tracking of account performance, analyze trends, and help prepare client-facing and internal reporting to inform next steps.

  • Use data and metrics to support decision-making and communicate progress.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales, product, operations, marketing, and regional teams to support client delivery and commercialization efforts.

  • Coordinate internal resources to meet client priorities and deadlines.

Financial & Operational Discipline
  • Support financial management elements of assigned accounts, including forecasting inputs, opportunity tracking, and basic budget support.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Contribution to revenue and volume growth for assigned accounts

  • Support of Visa Direct volume expansion across priority corridors

  • Client satisfaction and engagement metrics

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • University Recruiting: MBA/ PhD without experience
  • 3-5+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally in transaction banking, payments, fintech, consulting, or account management

  • Foundational understanding of cross-border payments, FX, and B2B payment solutions
  • Experience supporting complex client engagements and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting sales growth or product commercialization efforts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights

  • Strong execution mindset with attention to detail

  • Collaborative team player comfortable working across functions

  • Ability to influence and drive progress without direct authority

  • Comfort explaining business and technical concepts clearly and concisely

U.S. Applicants Only
The estimated salary range for this position is $129,200.00 to $ 206,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
Work Hours
Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
