Job description

Xtreme Manufacturing is seek an Assistant Production Planner to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and scheduling materials required for production.
  • Monitor part availability and identify shortages before they impact manufacturing.
  • Support consumption and components and materials in M3, including serialized items and delivery-upon-request materials.
  • Review and maintain accurate Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and ensure timely updates.
  • Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to resolve material discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to support accurate demand and supply planning.
  • Help maintain BOM accuracy and report issues to appropriate teams.
  • Track slow-moving, shortage, or critical components and communicate risks.
  • Support receipt processes for incoming materials and assist in resolving receiving issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning and material flow.

Requirements

  • 2-4 yearsโ€™ experience as a production planner or in a related field preferred.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent; further education or certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in material planning, inventory, scheduling or warehouse operations.
  • Experience in MRP systems (Manufacturing resource planning).
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, good critical thinking and conflict resolution skills, ability to work individually of with a team, ability to adapt under changing circumstances, good understanding of the manufacturing process on the line and systematically.
