Where You Will Work 

Looking to live in a small town with big opportunities? What You Will Do
  • Support the area Planners in all facets of job preparation, execution and follow up as prescribed by the Freeport-McMoRan standards, including time spent "in the field" to ensure readiness and availability of materials and equipment resources. 
  • Maintain a history for all assigned activities in the management system. 
  • Under the guidance of the Equipment Reliability Standards (ERS) closely interacts with the Planners in the assigned area to maintain and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities. Attend daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings with key stakeholders. Review, prioritize and schedule work orders. 
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of data in the maintenance management system (SAP). 
  • Assist Planners in the planning and organization for planned major production shutdowns. 
  • Assist Planners with generating regular and ad hoc reports 
  • Engage with onsite Global Supply Chain to control warehouse minimum/maximum levels and appropriate storage conditions of materials and parts. 
  • Upkeep, monitor and adjust schedules for assigned activities. Maintain these schedules in the management system. 
  • Organize data to support maintenance management decisions, including departmental budgets and weekly forecasting. 
  • Perform other duties as needed. 
What You Bring To Freeport
  • High School diploma or GED and two (2) years related experience in supporting field maintenance or operations department within a mining/mfg environment, OR 
  • Associate's degree in applicable field. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in SAP and associated applications
  • Experience in MS Office
  • Some knowledge of general maintenance practices

The estimated pay range for this role is currently$27.00 - $37.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
