Job Description Patentanwaltsfachangestellte / Patent Paralegal / Legal Assistant (German & English Speaking) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a bilingual German and English-speaking Patent Paralegal / Legal Assistant / Patentanwaltsfachangestellte. Our client is seeking an experienced Patentanwaltsfachangestellte / Patent Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support a small team of Patent Attorneys based in Munich. This position offers a top-of-the-market salary, excellent benefits, and hybrid working, with the option to be based in either the Munich or London office.

Key Responsibilities Reviewing incoming post and faxes to determine priority and identify paralegal work. Providing paralegal support to Patent Attorneys, including generating standard letters and creating client invoices. Independently managing incoming paralegal work.

Monitoring reminders and ensuring the case management system is updated. Assisting Patent Attorneys with diary management and booking appointments. In the attorneys' absence, monitoring emails and ensuring urgent matters are addressed.

Delegating work to Paralegal Assistants and providing ad hoc training. Maintaining responsibility for case files. Ensuring urgent legal deadlines are met.

Position Requirements Fluent German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum 2 years' Patent Paralegal or Patent Secretarial experience. PaFa or CIPA Patent Paralegal qualification highly desirable.

Experience working in a busy environment with a methodical approach. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and manage fluctuating workloads and deadlines.

Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
