Job Summary:

Assist in instructing students to improve skill levels and/or achieve competencies. Employee works with the instructor and students individually, and may help in small groups and in the full class setting to help facilitate effective student learning.

Job Duties:

Assist students in navigating on-line learning environments. Instruct students one-on-one. Assist faculty in helping students understand and respond to all coursework. Coordinate daily instructional strategy with faculty before class begins. Assist faculty in developing and maintaining student learning plans. Assist faculty in reviewing and grading student work, as needed. Assist faculty in contacting students with excessive absences. Organize and oversee peer-group lessons, as needed. Other duties as assigned.ย 

Minimum Qualifications:

Credential instructor based upon discipline and course.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in instructional technology. Proficiency in subject matter.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
