Based in Brockton, Massachusetts, Atrenne is an innovative leader in system architecture for computing platforms, designing and manufacturing solutions for the military, industrial and telecom industries.
We are seeking an Assistant Division Controller to join our Finance team. Core duties of this role include
providing leadership and coordination for all domestic and international accounting activities, evaluating and improving on systems to provide accurate operational and financial reports to internal and external stakeholders and developing processes and controls to protect the assets of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare timely month-end financial statements.
  • Report monthly financial results within deadline.
  • Perform an analytical review of the monthly operating results.
  • Manage, report and forecast cash flow.
  • Report and reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Support payroll processing including expense reimbursement.
  • Assist in the process of developing and reviewing budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
  • Manage the physical inventory of the company.
  • Support the proper reporting of a product costing system.
  • Develop, maintain, and review standard costs and overhead allocations.
  • Conduct ongoing pricing, cost and gross margin reviews with management
  • Oversee financial management and consolidated reporting of foreign operations

including adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable function including recordkeeping, invoicing, cash

receipts & application, and management of bad debt write-offs.
  • Support the Credit and Collections function, including customer financial review.
  • Support the Accounts Payable function including recordkeeping and timely payment

of vendor invoices in accordance with terms of payment.
  • Partner with the Division Controller to establish and implement short- and long-range

departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for senior management.
  • Active involvement in execution of tactical and strategic decisions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE BS Accounting, Finance, CPA, CMA, or MBA. Related experience in a manufacturing company, preferably with multiple divisions requiring consolidation.
Credibility, ethical, full disclosure and clean financial history. Keen analytic, organization, and problem solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting. Solid understanding of GAAP.
Ability to establish trusting and engaging relationships with senior staff, subordinates, other managers and vendors.
COMPUTER SKILLS Proficient in the use of electronic mail, Microsoft office, and ERP systems and ability to coach others in these systems. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook along with Internet and Project Management, ERP or other database software knowledge.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work model that incorporates a mixture of in-office and remote work in an employee's schedule..
The target annual base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $150,000.
This position involves access to commodities, software, technical data or technology that is subject to U.S. export control requirements. Any job offer made will be contingent upon the applicant's capacity to perform this role in compliance with U.S. export control restrictions.
