Job description

Messiah Lifeways seeks a dynamic financial leader to serve as VP Finance & Controller, guiding the organization's financial strategy and operations across the organization. This executive role blends hands-on financial management with strategic insight, leveraging data analytics to drive organizational performance and inform decision-making at the highest level. The VP Finance & Controller will serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, partnering with vice presidents and C-suite executives to support organizational decision-making, resource allocation, new business ventures, and technology innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the use of data analytics and business intelligence tools to enhance performance measurement and resource allocation.
  • Oversee accounting operations, budgeting, audit preparation, financial reporting, cash management, and compliance across the organization.
  • Ensure integrity and transparency in financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting automation, and predictive analytics capabilities.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to executives and board members through data visualization and storytelling.
  • Lead and mentor the Finance team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
