Job Title: Line Cook

Location: Indian Hills Country Club - Mission Hills, Kansas

Department: Kitchen

Reports To: Sous Chef

Job Summary:

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment. Working under the direction of the Executive Chef and kitchen management, the Line Cook will ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role involves following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude are essential for success in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Line Execution: Manage a specific station on the line during service, ensuring timely and efficient food production during peak hours.
  • Ingredient Management: Assist with the preparation and organization of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring, to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
