En tant qu'analyste financier, vous epaulerez l'assistant-controleur et vous serez appele a fournir un soutien financier et des analyses qui auront un impact direct sur le succes du groupe.

Relevant de l'assistant-controleur, le candidat retenu travaillera en etroite collaboration avec une equipe de professionnels des finances tout en participant au processus de cloture du mois, du trimestre et de fin d'annee.

Responsabilites:

  • Analyse et comptabilisation des revenus mensuels de plusieurs unites d'affaires;

  • Extraction de donnees et rapports des differents systemes;

  • Revision des comptes de depenses et carte de credit afin d'assurer une bonne codification comptable;

  • Faire la conciliation des donnees financieres entre les differents systemes comptables et les CRM des unites d'affaires;

  • Effectuer de la reconciliation intercompagnie;

  • Compilation du rapport de TPS-TVQ;

  • Effectue les rapports de commissions mensuels;

  • Suivis des projets avec l'equipes operationnels et dans le systeme comptable;

  • Balancer les auxiliaires des comptes a recevoiret suivi des comptes qui doivent aller en collection;

  • Conciliation de plusieurs comptes de bilan (revenus differes, frais courus, frais payes d'avance etc.);

  • Completer et deposer la documentation qui appuie nos analyses dans le portail afferent lors de chaque fin de mois;

  • Assister l'equipe dans leur travail quotidien;

  • Maintenir a jour les controles internes et recommander des ameliorations aux processus;

  • Confirmer que les transactions sont bien comptabilisees selon les normes comptables (EX: IFRS15 et IFRS16);

  • Assister dans la preparation du dossier de verification pendant l'audit de fin d'annee;

  • Autres taches connexes ou demandes Ad Hoc.

Education / experience de travail :

  • 3 ans et plus d'experience en l'experience en industrie;

  • Titre comptable (complete ou en cours), un atout;

  • Environnement de travail rapide et changeant, la gestion du stress doit etre maitrisee;

  • Etre en mesure d'etablir ses priorites et comprendre l'importance de l'atteinte des echeanciers;

  • Une bonne maitrise du francais et de l'anglais est requise car le titulaire du poste aura a communiquer frequemment dans les deux langues, tant oralement que par ecrit. Nous avons des collegues, des clients et des partenaires au Quebec, ainsi que dans le reste du Canada et aux Etats-Unis.

  • Experience avec le referentiel IFRS, un atout;

  • Savoir utiliser Microsoft D365 et Great Plain, un atout;

  • Connaissance intermediaire a avance de MS Excel et de la suite Microsoft Office.

Financial Analyst

This is your opportunity to join a fast-paced organization with a large, stable and growing presence in the software industry! As a financial analyst, you will support the assistant controller and provide financial support and analysis that will have a direct impact on the success of the group.

Reporting to the assistant Controller, the successful candidate will work closely with an existing team of finance professionals while participating in the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process.

Responsabilities:

  • Analyze and record monthly revenues for several business units;

  • Extract data and reports from various systems;

  • Review expense and credit card accounts to ensure proper accounting coding;

  • Reconcile financial data between the various accounting systems and the business unit CRMs;

  • Perform intercompany reconciliation;

  • Compile the GST/QST reports;

  • Prepare monthly commission reports;

  • Monitor projects with the operational teams and in the accounting system;

  • Balance accounts receivable auxiliaries and track accounts that needs to be collected;

  • Reconcile several balance sheet accounts (deferred revenue, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, etc.);

  • Complete and submit supporting documentation to the relevant portal at the end of each month;

  • Assist the team in their daily work;

  • Maintain internal controls and recommend process improvements;

  • Confirm that transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16);

  • Assist in preparing the audit file during the year-end audit;

  • Other related tasks or ad hoc requests.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of industry experience;

  • Accounting designation (completed or in progress), an asset;

  • Fast-paced and changing work environment, stress management must be mastered;

  • Ability to prioritize and understand the importance of meeting deadlines;

  • Good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken;

  • Experience with IFRS, an asset;

  • Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Great Plain, an asset;

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
