MissionWe are seeking an Assistant Controller for a manufacturing company located in Laval.
Under the supervision of the controller, your duties will include:
- Participate in the monthly closing process (journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis)
- Prepare monthly financial statements and monitor the budget
- Prepare tax returns and certain tax reports
- Support external auditors and prepare year-end documents
- Assist in the preparation of financial administrative documents
- Manage the operations of two entities, including intercompany transactions
- Monitor cash flow (bank accounts and credit cards)
- Use EPICOR and QuickBooks, particularly for bank reconciliations
- Other related tasks
What we’re looking for:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- At least 2-3 years of experience
- Corporate experience (a plus)
- Bilingual in French and English
