Job description

The Assistant Bar Manager will assist in supervising the daily operations of our food and beverage Outlets, including the hotel bar and cocktail lounge, with additional assistance in oversight of the coffee shop, room service, and concierge lounge. The Assistant Bar Manager will be responsible for ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. The Assistant Bar Manager will also ensure that standards and legal obligations are followed.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets.
• Assist with food and beverage inventory and order supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms, as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support and supervise an effective self-inspection program.
• Operate all department equipment as necessary and report malfunctions.
• Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service and operations are running smoothly.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry regulations and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
