The Business Applications Manager makes an impact by โ€“

  • In concert with the VP IT, meet with each department head to determine the business application needs in each department.
  • Work with the business to develop the business case for each project.
  • For those approved projects identify the budget and utilize tools and templates to manage each stage of the project.
  • Continue implementing THDโ€™s goal of minimizing the use of custom developed applications and customizations in COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) software by implementing standard business processes and functions.
  • Maintain the Business Application Inventory list and identify the roadmap for each application making sure THD stays reasonable current with upgrades and patching to be able to use the most current product features.
  • Conform to regulatory compliance related to electronic information in areas such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
  • Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
  • Comply with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) food safety and quality standards.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on manufacturing and distribution business applications experience as a BSA
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with ERP/WMS full lifecycle implementation and support experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and PIM experience
  • Experience developing standardized business processes in SCM, customer service, warehouse/distribution
  • Experience with EDI and GDSN
  • Experience implementing KPIโ€™s for each of the business operation areas
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager is strongly desired
  • Experience with demand planning applications, Power BI, MPS, MRP, WMS, and CRM is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
