About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Enterprise Applications IT Intern to support our Enterprise Applications team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the systems and platforms that enable our insurance and financial services operations, including policy administration systems, CRM tools, financial applications, and reporting platforms.
As an intern, you'll assist with application support, testing, documentation, and process improvements while learning how enterprise systems operate within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role can be structured to accommodate capstone or academic project requirements, providing an opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in application support, business systems analysis, or IT within insurance and financial services.
What You'll Do:
Support Enterprise Applications
  • Assist with day-to-day support of enterprise applications used across the business
  • Help troubleshoot application issues, escalate defects, and track resolutions under the guidance of senior team members
  • Support user access requests, role assignments, and basic configuration updates

Assist with Application Testing & Enhancements
  • Participate in system testing related to enhancements, upgrades, and fixes
  • Help validate data, workflows, and business rules within applications
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and document results

Documentation & Process Support
  • Assist in creating and maintaining application documentation, user guides, and process flows
  • Help document system requirements, configurations, and integration points
  • Support efforts to standardize and improve application-related processes

Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with IT, business users, and vendors to support application functionality
  • Gain exposure to how enterprise applications support underwriting, policy administration, finance, and customer operations
  • Learn best practices related to application governance, controls, and compliance in a regulated industry

What You Bring:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • In your Junior or Senior year, with relevant course work or foundational knowledge in one or more of the following: systems analysis or enterprise systems, business process analysis or workflows, project management concepts, databases or basic SQL.
  • Strong interest in learning and working with enterprise applications and business systems within insurance, annuities, or financial services space
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and interest in understanding how applications support business processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn and create clear documentation and job aids
  • Ability to work in office during core business hours; hybrid flexibility may be available based on performance and team needs
  • Must be able to work in office environment
