Job description

Position Overview
The Clinical Applications Assistant will provide support in maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing clinical staff training on the various medical software systems in use at SVT Health & Wellness (SVTHW).
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software vendors to troubleshoot technical issues, implement new features, and support software updates and system enhancements.
  • Configure systems and deliver training for new staff on software applications, electronic health record (EHR) usage, and clinical workflows.
  • Develop and maintain workflow documentation and software training materials aligned with organizational policies and clinical procedures.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of workflows and data collection processes to meet HRSA reporting requirements and meet additional standards as directed.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for EHR help desk requests, and ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and follow through.
  • Perform critical clinical application support functions to maintain operational continuity when Clinical Applications Coordinator is not available.

Required Qualifications
2 years' educational program or equivalent blend of education and experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint
Clinical workflow experience
Demonstrated technology literacy skills
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to independently follow-through and complete work assignments, while also participating in an active and positive member of the team.
Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple, and sometimes competing projects at the same time.

Physical Requirements
Typically, a blend of sedentary office work such as sitting and typing and a light physical effort for field support. Regular and long periods of sitting, standing are to be expected for the majority of the time. Close and color vision along with depth perception is necessary to work with computer screens which is the majority of the time. Occasional bending, kneeling, stooping may be expected. High level of hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation of computer equipment. Ability to read, write, spear and hear in English is required.
