Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, technically skilled, and customer-focused Business Applications Administrator to manage, support, and continuously improve the company's enterprise business applications.

This individual will serve as the primary administrator for multiple SaaS platforms across HR, Finance, IT, and Operations, ensuring systems are secure, integrated, scalable, and optimized for business efficiency.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems through technology, improving workflows through automation, and partnering with employees across all functions to deliver exceptional internal support.

Key Responsibilities

Business Applications Administration

  • Serve as primary administrator for enterprise business applications including HRIS, ERP, and CRM platforms.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise application strategy encompassing Netsuite, BambooHR, and Salesforce platforms.
  • Oversee the implementation, day-to-day management and continuous improvement of Netsuite, BambooHR, Salesforce and other critical platforms.
  • Partner with the Cloud Systems Administrator to lead the integration of enterprise business applications with Okta Identity and Access Management, enabling secure SSO, MFA, automated provisioning, and user lifecycle management.
  • Ensure each Enterprise Business Applications are configured and customized to meet business requirements and that they are effectively integrated with one another.
  • Maintain high performance, security, and reliability across all systems, proactively addressing issues and minimizing downtime to support uninterrupted business operations.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with software vendors when necessary.
  • Perform system upgrades, testing, and release management.

Systems Integration & Automation

  • Maintain integrations between business applications.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand business requirements and implement scalable technology solutions.
  • Assist with implementation of new business systems and software upgrades.
  • Document business processes, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.

User Support

  • Provide Tier 2 support for enterprise applications.
  • Train employees on new systems and application features.
  • Develop user guides and internal knowledge base documentation.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively resolve issues.

Security & Compliance

  • Maintain user access controls and role-based permissions.
  • Support IT security initiatives including identity management and access reviews.
  • Ensure systems comply with company security policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in software license management and vendor renewals.

Vendor Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for software vendors.
  • Coordinate support requests and issue resolution.
  • Assist in evaluating new business applications and technology solutions.
  • Track software subscriptions and licensing.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 37 years of experience administering enterprise SaaS business applications.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based business systems.
  • Strong understanding of user administration, security permissions, workflows, and reporting.
  • Experience troubleshooting software and application issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
