How you will make an impact:
Meissner Filtration Products is seeking an Applications Engineering Coordinator. The purpose of this role is to provide critical project coordination to the Applications Engineering department which is a customer-facing group within Meissner that provides engineered-to-order solutions for our end-users. In collaboration with Applications Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Procurement, the purpose of this role is to provide critical project support to customers and internal planning and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will serve as liaison between departments and communicate critical project directives for customer orders. The role will require this person to quickly learn and become familiar with Meissner products and customer base through company training, self-education and communication with other team members about company policies, company culture, along with manufacturing and business processes.
  • Interact with applications engineers to comprehend job scope and oversee team capacity.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams and departments to enhance organizational productivity.
  • Allocate in-coming project requests to appropriate engineers and ensure tasks are assigned effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Administer applications engineering's inbox and respond to routine inquiries from internal and external sources.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
The skills and experience you'll need:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical operations strongly desired.
  • Minimum of two years' operations, project coordination, or project management experience including quality, technical, administrative, financial, and contractual.
  • Knowledge or work experience relating to order processing, inventory, and shipping procedures.
  • Must be Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
