Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking an Application Support Engineer with prior experience in application support engineering. The role involves working independently on moderately complex issues, requiring strong scripting skills and knowledge of vulnerability remediation on applications and supporting infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Look for someone who has prior Application support engineering experience.
• Knowledge of vulnerability remediation experience on applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Works independently in a fast paced environment on moderately complex issues.
• Requirement is that the candidates be good in scripting, be it Ansible/Python, Powershell or Batch scripting.
• Candidates should be able to write their own scripts to address application vulnerability issues.
• It is not sufficient if they are just able to modify scripts.
• The reason he is looking for good scripting experience is because they don't have enough time for the candidates to learn on the job.
• Even SRE candidates will work for this requirement.
• 7+ years of implementation/support experience with distributed applications
• 2+ Experience with Windows operating systems including Windows IIS admin/or Apache Tomcat
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure architecture
• Experience in enterprise monitoring tools
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Strong technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement and strong operational focus
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation
