Job description


We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director of Engineering - Marketing Hub to join our Corporate Engineering team. This role is located in United States.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Role Summary
  1. Lead engineering strategy for Marketing platforms, driving consistency, usability, scalability, reliability, and innovation across the portfolio.
  2. Build and develop high-performing engineering teams delivering modern digital experiences, customer engagement solutions, marketing applications, and enterprise web platforms.
  3. Define and advance platform architecture, engineering standards, reusable frameworks, integration patterns, and shared technology capabilities supporting Marketing and Communications functions.
  4. Partner with Marketing, Communications, Product, UX/Design, Data & Analytics, Architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver customer-focused digital capabilities.
  5. Drive modernization of legacy marketing platforms through migration to cloud-native, API-driven, and component-based architectures.
  6. Ensure platforms meet high standards for security, accessibility, performance, maintainability, operational resilience, and compliance requirements.
  7. Establish strong engineering discipline across the SDLC, testing, observability, release management, vendor integration, and operational support.
  8. Shape the broader Marketing engineering roadmap by aligning platform investments with business priorities, customer engagement objectives, analytics insights, and digital experience goals.

Required Qualifications
  1. Significant experience leading engineering teams delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms, websites, customer engagement solutions, content management systems, or marketing technology applications.
  2. 12+ years of technology leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, preferably within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  3. Experience leading engineering organizations supporting digital marketing, communications, customer experience, or enterprise web platforms.
  4. Strong expertise in modern application architectures, cloud-based solutions, API integrations, SaaS platforms, DevOps practices, and digital platform engineering.
  5. Experience building and scaling enterprise digital platforms, content management solutions, customer-facing websites, and reusable technology capabilities.
  6. Experience leading enterprise web, digital experience, content management, customer engagement, and marketing analytics platforms, including modernization of cloud-based and SaaS solutions.
  7. Experience with marketing technology ecosystems, digital analytics, personalization capabilities, customer data platforms, content management systems, or similar enterprise digital solutions.
  8. Strong understanding of secure software delivery, platform reliability, governance, vendor management, and engineering practices supporting business-critical applications.
  9. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across engineering, marketing, product, communications, UX, and business teams.
  10. Experience modernizing legacy platforms and improving engineering quality through standards, governance, automation, and best practices.
  11. Experience managing large technology portfolios, strategic investments, and engineering organizations delivering measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience supporting enterprise websites, digital communications, marketing analytics, customer engagement, or content publishing platforms.
  2. Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  3. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Cloud, customer data platforms, analytics platforms, content management systems, or comparable digital experience technologies.
  4. Experience leading digital modernization, personalization, AI-enabled customer experiences, or marketing technology transformation initiatives.
  5. Experience leveraging customer analytics and digital engagement insights to improve user experiences, business outcomes, and marketing effectiveness.
  6. Experience evaluating, implementing, and managing enterprise SaaS solutions and strategic technology vendor relationships.
