Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams across remote and offshore locations.
  • Partner with product and business leaders to define and deliver technology and product roadmaps.
  • Drive a large-scale modernization program: migrating legacy .NET Framework and SQL-based systems to .NET Core microservices, event-driven services, and AWS-based Kubernetes environments.
  • Guide architectural evolution toward microservices, cloud-native patterns, and secure, scalable, cost-efficient designs.
  • Oversee application transformation and cloud migration using AWS services and modern DevOps practices.

  • Mature SDLC practices including security, code quality, CI/CD, documentation, and containerization.
  • Ensure operational excellence through proactive support, resilience improvements, and service health monitoring.
  • Manage and reduce technical debt through disciplined prioritization.
  • Champion AI adoption to improve productivity and enable new product capabilities.
  • Participate in architecture and design decisions; review code and designs for quality, performance, and security.
  • Establish consistent Agile execution, improving throughput, quality, and predictability.
  • Manage resource capacity across global teams to meet delivery commitments.
  • Mentor engineering talent and build a culture of ownership, learning, and high performance.
  • Introduce new technologies and methodologies to enhance product capabilities.
  • Track and report KPIs for performance, quality, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Oversee incident response and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Partner with executives on budgeting, resource planning, and organizational growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years in software development; 5+ years in senior engineering leadership.
  • Experience leading distributed teams of 30+ engineers.
  • Strong background in C#, .NET, API design, microservices, and modern architectural patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and full-stack development.
  • Proven success delivering complex, scalable, cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure).
  • Strong understanding of CS fundamentals, system design, and high-volume service architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical debt, drive outcomes, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience with talent development, organizational design, and culture-building.

Preferred Skills
  • Leadership experience in large-scale modernization or digital transformation.
  • Deep AWS and Kubernetes experience (EKS preferred).
  • Strong DevOps capabilities: CI/CD automation, IaC, release management.
