What You'll Do:
Strategic Insights & Executive Support
  • Provide data-driven insights for annual strategic and business planning.
  • Partner with the CMO on executive and board marketing committee reporting.
  • Translate complex data into clear, decision-ready narratives for leadership.

Marketing Performance & Growth Analytics
  • Lead analysis of marketing performance, including:
    • Marketing Acquisition Cost (MAC),
    • Member Lifetime Value (LTV), and
    • Marketing ROI and growth contribution.
  • Identify drivers of acquisition, retention, primacy, and product adoption.
  • Recommend optimization strategies to improve campaign effectiveness.

Member & Market Insights
  • Develop segmentation models and behavioral insights to support:
    • Targeted marketing and personalization;
    • Member journey optimization; and
    • Cross-sell and relationship deepening.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform growth strategy.

Marketing Technology & Data Activation
  • Oversee marketing analytics platforms (CDP, automation, reporting tools).
  • Ensure effective use of data for segmentation, activation, and measurement.
  • Partner with Data Center of Excellence (CoE) for governance, integration, and quality.

Forecasting & Growth Modeling
  • Develop marketing-influenced forecasts for:
    • Member acquisition and onboarding;
    • Loan and deposit activity; and
    • Engagement and conversion trends.
  • Provide inputs aligned with Finance's forecasting processes.

KPI Governance & Performance Alignment
  • Collaborate with Finance and Data Center of Excellence:
    • Align KPI definitions and methodologies;
    • Ensure consistency across reporting; and
    • Validate marketing contribution to financial outcomes.
  • Support
  • KPI governance frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with:
    • Finance (ROI validation and forecasting inputs);
    • Data CoE (data governance and infrastructure); and
    • Digital, Product, and Retail teams (experience optimization).

Data & Analytics Innovation
  • Apply advanced analytics including predictive modeling, behavioral insights, and AI-driven recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in automation, analytics capabilities, and decision speed.

Cross-Functional Data Partnership
  • Data CoE Ownership:
    • Data governance, standards, and infrastructure
    • Data pipelines, warehouse, and quality
  • Marketing Analytics Ownership:
    • Data interpretation and activation
    • Marketing performance measurement
    • Growth insights and decision support

What You'll Need:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in data science, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in leading and managing marketing analytics or business intelligence, preferably within the financial services or credit union industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Direct experience with the Strum Platform CDP and/or HubSpot Marketing Hub.
    • Expertise in SQL, data visualization (Power BI, Tableau), and advanced Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities; comfortable presenting to C-suite executives and governing boards.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to execute plans.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Pro-active self-starter with ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks or projects.
