We are seeking a results-oriented Manager of Sales Account Management for our Agency Account Management team. The Agency Account Management team embraces emerging tools and evolving processes to operate with a high degree of ambiguity, requiring someone who thrives in building from the ground up and leading from the front. As Manager of Sales Account Management, you will oversee a team of Sales Account Managers - programmatic experts that partner with advertising agencies to help them grow their business and drive results for their brands through Amazon DSP and across the full Amazon Ads portfolio (Display, Video, Audio, etc.)

You will coach and lead your team to be strategic consultants for agency leadership across account planning, strategy, investment, and activation teams - building trust and providing direct access to ADSP/AdTech solutions, insights, and measurement expertise when agencies need it most.
As a Manager, you will own revenue targets for your team and will be responsible for creating plans to achieve them. You will leverage your experience and judgment to define organizational strategy, processes, tools, and incentives to maximize performance and accelerate growth. You will drive execution of strategy, ensuring your team consistently delivers measurable results in agency satisfaction, YoY revenue growth, renewal rates, and other operational quality metrics

This role partners closely with US agency leadership and internal cross-functional teams, including Agency Development, Ad Tech, Sales, Product, and others to establish joint goals and strategies to drive agency satisfaction and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has direct management experience, a strong agency background, programmatic expertise, comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
Key job responsibilities
- Hire and develop a high-performing team; conduct resource management and capacity planning
- Develop, execute, and inspect team strategy, goals, and action plans to achieve revenue objectives and targets
- Become a knowledgeable partner on Amazon Advertising solutions with ability to partner on agency strategy at senior leadership levels
- Support the team in educating agencies on Amazon's ad tech offerings, performance metrics, insights, and how to achieve greater results with Amazon
- Coordinate across internal Amazon Ads leadership and cross-functional teams to represent agency business results and advocate for agency needs
- Obtain ongoing agency and partner feedback to assess performance against organizational objectives
- Define and scale team processes and best practices to drive consistently strong performance.
