Responsibilities

We are excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to our front office team at The Center for Endocrinology at Mercy, a busy and patient-focused practice. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive, fast-paced environment where your communication and customer service skills will truly make a difference in the patient experience.

-Greet and check-in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
-Answer and manage incoming phone calls and patient messages efficiently
-Handle patient registration and verify insurance information
-Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
-Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
-Monitor and manage provider schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations
-Sort and distribute incoming faxes and documents appropriately
-Assist patients with FMLA and disability paperwork
-Maintain a clean, organized front office space
-Provide exceptional service and support to patients and visitors
-Other duties as assigned


Requirements

-High School Diploma or GED

-Previous experience in a medical front office setting
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication
-Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude
-Familiarity with EPIC and Microsoft Office is a plus
