As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. We are passionate about preventive oral health care and value our hygiene team. Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Hygiene Assistant! Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
  • Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
  • Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
  • Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Cordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
  • Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
  • Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (Required)
  • Registered Dental Assistant - Required
  • Radiology certification Required
  • CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
