Our team of eye doctors includes highly experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, and board-certified eye surgeons who specialize in a full spectrum of eye care specialties.
About the Role
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our growing practice and ambulatory surgery center. You will collaborate with multiple leaders and departments, take on various projects, and play a key role in strengthening our analytics and operations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and complete assigned projects from start to finish, taking ownership, prioritizing tasks, and driving data-driven initiatives across departments.
  • Support clinical operations by reviewing EMRs, verifying patient and provider information, managing calls, and communication.
  • Coordinate documentation and ensure timely, accurate correspondence across patients, physicians, and referring providers.
  • Maintain and track patient data, appointments, and follow-ups while supporting reporting and basic analytics; ensure accurate medical terminology.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, and help uphold a smooth, patient-centered care experience.
  • Handle a wide variety of administrative tasks, both complex and routine, and take ownership of all assigned tasks to support the team and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Help identify process improvements through data insights and initiate and perform analytics to support leaders across the practice.

About You
  • Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading or supporting data-driven projects and operational initiatives is preferred.
  • Ability to shift between diverse responsibilities and complete both complex projects and day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Strong analytical and data-interpretation skills, paired with confidence using digital tools and technology.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), practice management systems, scheduling programs, and spreadsheets is a plus.
  • High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Why work for us?
  • Join a respected, mission driven medical practice with a 40-year legacy of excellence.
  • Make a meaningful impact on the organization through administrative support shaping how our practice operates and grows.
  • An excellent opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow professionally.
  • With varied responsibilities across departments, weekly projects, and both analytical and administrative work, every day brings something different.
