Job description

The Sales Account Management Professional is responsible for achieving significant long term sales growth and customer satisfaction along with managing the overall customer relationship with the assigned accounts. This employee will work as a primary contact for assigned accounts, including engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing and other areas. This employee coordinates involvement of other team members as needed. Responsible for all business development and sales at assigned accounts and achieving significant sales and profit growth to meet or exceed goals set by the Sales Manager while achieving superior supplier ratings.

General Responsibilities
Leads the direct sales process and achieving sales targets
Responsible for visits to current and potential clients
Leads the performing of routine account management activities
Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets
Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Drive Growth & Strategy:

  • Lead the direct sales process to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies using market insights and available marketing programs.
  • Identify and map decision-making units within customer organizations to accelerate growth initiatives.

Account Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all commercial and account management topics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional engagement to deliver superior customer experience and meet scorecard objectives.
  • Ensure customers receive high-quality service and maintain top supplier ratings.

Business Development:

  • Build a strong pipeline of new opportunities with a high success rate.
  • Lead complex sales cycles for products requiring DVP&R processes.
  • Negotiate effectively and influence key decision-makers to secure strategic wins.

Base Salary Range:

$97,040.00 - $133,430.00
