Job description

Job Purpose:
Leads daily assembly production operations, ensuring safety compliance, quality standards, and on-time delivery. Oversees production employees and line leaders while driving adherence to policies, procedures, and 5S standards. Accountable for performance metrics, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and streamline processes. Partners cross-functionally to optimize materials and ensure high-quality, cost-effective production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily assembly production operations; set priorities and ensure output meets schedule, quality, and safety standards.
  • Supervise Production Supervisors and Line Leaders; support staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Monitor and drive KPIs (OLE, productivity, quality, labor efficiency); implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate work orders, capacity planning, and labor allocation to meet daily and monthly demand.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP/GDP, and company policies; conduct routine floor walks.
  • Oversee WIP inventory accuracy and production reporting; maintain data integrity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S) to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Facilitate daily production meetings; communicate goals, issues, and performance updates to leadership.
  • Support onboarding, training, and skills development; maintain training matrix and workforce readiness.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Operations, Quality, Supply Chain) to optimize materials, processes, and output.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Able to make the tough decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or minimum of 10 years with related assembly manufacturing experience
  • 5 years in a leadership role, leading Production Supervisors and Line Leads.
  • Ability to read and interpreting assembly drawings.
  • 3 years of experience in Mechanical assembly is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills preferred .
  • Must be able to read and work from drawings and work instructions, have a good mechanical aptitude in math.
  • Basic knowledge of "5S" and lean manufacturing required

  • English/Spanish spoken.
  • Must be able to plan, schedule and adjust on the fly.
