Summary:

We are seeking a Value Stream Team Leader to lead a FAA Part 145 Repair Station team of 5 direct reports (1 Scheduler, 4 Technicians) and serve as the FAA Accountable Manager. This role is responsible for daily repair station operations, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this leader will help drive safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost performance in alignment with the Parker Lean System and Win Strategy. Leads the Repair Station team and is responsible for associate development, performance management, staffing decisions, daily execution, and budget adherence.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operation of the Part 145 Repair Station as the FAA Accountable Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, customer, and applicable regulatory requirements, including EASA, CAAC, CAA, and DOT.
  • Maintain the effectiveness and integrity of the Repair Station Manual, Quality Manual, Training Manual, Roster, and related quality system documents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and regulatory audits.
  • Achieve operational goals for safety, quality, delivery, lead time, inventory, and cost.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Parker Lean System tools, including standardized work, visual management, 5S, PDCA, team improvement boards, and value stream boards.
  • Lead daily team communication, problem solving, and cross-functional coordination to support smooth workflow and rapid issue resolution.
  • Support workforce development through coaching, cross-training, and building a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Help develop and execute value stream improvement plans to create flow, support pull systems, and level workload.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, operations, or business-related field.
  • 4+ years of related experience in manufacturing, operations, repair station, aerospace, or regulated environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA Part 145 requirements and related regulatory standards.
  • Experience leading teams, improving processes, and delivering results across safety, quality, service, and cost.
  • Knowledge of production control, supply chain coordination, quality systems, and planning/execution systems such as MRP/ERP.
  • Proven ability to build teams, develop employees, and lead positive change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Pay Range:  87050 to 145250 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
