Terry and Kim Pegula purchased the Buffalo Bills in 2014 and are only the second owners in the team’s history. Terry Pegula rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected leaders in the energy industry, and the Pegula’s are one of the few professional sports owners to operate franchises in multiple sports, also owning the Buffalo Sabres (NHL), Buffalo Bandits (NLL), and Rochester Americans (AHL).

Position Summary

The Buffalo Bills IT department is seeking a versatile and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for organizational staff, business operations, and venue technology. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of end-user devices, business applications, audiovisual systems, and event technology that support daily operations and all stadium events.

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused technology professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional service before, during, and after events.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for organizational staff.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows and macOS computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Support Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and enterprise business applications.
  • Configure and support user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Respond to incidents and service requests while meeting established service level expectations.
  • Participate in the implementation of security controls such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and data loss prevention.
  • Support conference rooms, meeting spaces, digital signage, and audiovisual technologies.
  • Assist with software deployments, endpoint patching, and operating system updates.
  • Support ticketing and documentation through the organization's IT Service Management platform.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when appropriate.
Event & Venue Support
  • Provide onsite IT support for all home games, concerts, special events, and other venue activities.
  • Ensure operational readiness of technology supporting ticketing, point-of-sale systems, digital signage, Wi-Fi, broadcast support, communications, and other event-related systems.
  • Respond rapidly to technical issues during live events to minimize operational disruption.
  • Participate in pre-event technology testing, setup, and post-event teardown activities.
  • Support staff, vendors, partners, and event personnel throughout event operations.
  • Assist with deployment and maintenance of temporary technology required for special events.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while working in high-pressure, customer-facing environments.
Apple Device Management
  • Design, implement, and maintain Jamf Pro for macOS/iOS device management including enrollment, configuration profiles, and app deployment.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for macOS-related issues and oversee OS and firmware updates.
  • Create and maintain documentation and deliver training to IT staff and end-users.
  • JAMF 100/200/300 certifications are a plus.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field required.
  • 2 -4 years prior IT support experience in a corporate, hospitality, entertainment, or sports venue environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed; detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Able to organize, plan, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and other technical staff.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • This is not a remote position. The role requires being in the office every day.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in IT support and systems administration.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro and Apple device management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • COMPTIA certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
  • Any other relevant IT certifications are also considered a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This position operates in both office and stadium environments and requires regular movement throughout administrative offices, concourses, premium areas, production spaces, and outdoor venue locations.
  • The position requires lifting equipment up to 40 pounds, climbing stairs, working in confined spaces, and standing or walking for extended periods during events.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be available to work all home games, concerts, and major stadium events.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational needs.
  • Participation in an on-call support rotation may be required.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules to meet event and business demands is essential.

COMPENSATION

Salary will be considered and determined by the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. The target salary range for this positions is $65,000 - $75,000
