Job Summary:

The Manager, Sales Development, leads and develops a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve lead generation and qualification goals while driving overall sales effectiveness. This role is responsible for managing the infrastructure, tools, and processes that support team success, including CRM systems and sales technologies; monitoring performance metrics and reporting results; developing strategic plans to optimize pipeline activity; gathering market insights to refine targeting and messaging; and collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and account executives to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and continuous improvement across the sales development function. 10-20% travel required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 10 SDRs to achieve individual and team targets. Provide ongoing training and development to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage the infrastructure, including CRM systems, sales tools, and processes, to support the SDR team's activities and ensure efficiency.
    • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure the team is meeting its goals. Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
    • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to optimize lead generation and qualification processes. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align efforts and maximize results.
    • Market Insights: Gather and analyze market intelligence to refine targeting and messaging, contributing to higher lead conversion rates.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and maintain a strong pipeline. Foster a collaborative environment between SDRs and other departments.
    • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the team's effectiveness and efficiency.
