Job description

Position: Information Technology (IT) Intern
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Superior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Summer 2026 term (May - August). When you join Superior, you join a national leader in electrical design and construction. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond.
Under the guidance of our Infrastructure and Service Desk team, you'll gain exposure to network operations. hardware and software engineering, asset management, helpdesk operations, and so much more. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
  • Be part of the team that keeps the business running: creatively and collaboratively respond to operational issues raised by our staff
  • Partner with the IT team in imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting hardware (PCs, iPhones, iPads) for our staff
  • Inventory a wide array of technology accessories and ensuring stock is appropriate for daily needs
  • Help the IT team stay organized by tracking hardware accurately as it moves through the receiving and deployment process
  • Support our corporate stewardship by monitoring licenses and cell-services to ensure these are needed
  • Support the configuration and security of our Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenants
  • Help our team advance our strategic objectives and projects as called out on the IT Roadmap
