What You'll Do as a Communications Program Administrator
- Oversee the planning, development & implementation of high-level Public Information & Communication initiatives for the division; Manages complex strategic projects involving external organizations whose stakeholders include executives or local political entities.
- Serve as a liaison between the Strategic Communications Unit & the Colonels Office/Directors Office to ensure proper preparation for delivering remarks at events; Align internal & external messaging by identifying high-visibility or time-sensitive issues.
- Develop strategic communications plans to improve information sharing across internal & external agencies; Coordinate messaging between executive leadership, command staff, operational units & partner agencies.
- Formulate & implement new or modifies existing policies & procedures for Public Information Programs, projects &/or initiatives; Provides recommendations & technical advice to support decision-making & identify corrective actions.
- Track Colonels Office & Directors Office projects; Identify assignments & timelines; Make prompt, informed decisions during developing situations.
