Physicians Mutual is seeking an experienced Enterprise Program Manager to drive the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives across the organization.

In this role, you’ll act as the bridge between business strategy and technology execution. You'll translate high-level goals into actionable plans, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring programs deliver real business value.

  • Lead end-to-end program delivery for multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives
  • Translate business strategies into clear, actionable features and roadmaps
  • Own and manage program backlogs, priorities, and timelines in an Agile environment
  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to ensure alignment
  • Facilitate planning sessions, refinement meetings, and stakeholder discussions
  • Track progress, manage dependencies, and proactively address risks and scope changes
  • Communicate program status, milestones, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
  • Support Agile best practices and drive continuous improvement across teams
  • Build strong relationships and influence outcomes across all levels of the organization

  • Insurance industry knowledge
  • 7–10 years of experience in project/product management, business analysis, or related roles
  • 5+ years working in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
  • Strong ability to communicate, facilitate, and influence across all levels of an organization
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Experience with tools like Rally or similar project management platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or progressive experience in IT, financial services, or similar industries which can offset formal education requirements
