Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our International Technology team. This role is a backfill for an existing program manager and will support a portfolio of initiatives focused on the new account opening and funding experience, including modernization and optimization efforts across multiple technology and business teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a program manager who has a strong technical foundation and can effectively navigate complex systems, drive alignment across stakeholders, and translate business requirements into actionable technology initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a blend of traditional PMO discipline and technical expertise, with prior experience in software development, engineering, or highly technical program management environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional technology programs supporting account opening and funding processes.
  • Drive delivery planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communications across multiple teams.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, product, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and remove roadblocks while maintaining alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
  • Manage program timelines, dependencies, risks, and executive-level reporting.
  • Coordinate work across multiple development teams and technology platforms.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise updates for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure projects follow established governance, PMO, and delivery best practices.
  • Build strong relationships and foster collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Project Management.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in architecture, application, integration, and software delivery discussions.
  • Previous hands-on experience in software development, engineering, systems analysis, or another technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across multiple teams.
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the financial services or banking industry.
  • Experience supporting digital account opening, onboarding, funding, or customer experience initiatives.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or other AI productivity tools.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • An exceptional communicator who can confidently interact with engineers, product leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating technical complexity and ambiguity.
  • Highly organized with strong program governance skills.
  • Able to quickly understand interconnected systems and dependencies.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented.
Team & Environment

This role supports the International Technology organization and partners closely with teams responsible for new account opening and funding capabilities.
