Job Overview:

The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of AMERI-CANS’ service branch, ensuring seamless execution of service routes, operational efficiency, and a high standard of customer satisfaction. This role will work closely with senior leadership during an initial training period before taking full ownership of branch operations, personnel management, and process optimization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Job Duties) Common activities listed below: actual position responsibilities may vary.

  • Oversee day-to-day service route execution, ensuring 100% completion of commitments.
  • Coordinate with back-office operations, including order management, billing, receivables, supply, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage operations personnel time, attendance, and records in collaboration with administrative staff.
  • Maintain fleet readiness, equipment maintenance, and repair schedules.
  • Organize and manage operations personnel to maximize productivity, morale, and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct the ongoing organization and optimization of service yards, equipment, supplies, and staging areas.
  • Lead new site setups for commercial systems, including coordination of 3rd-party assets, materials, and budgets.
  • Prioritize maintenance and yard staff activities according to tactical and strategic goals.
  • Support special events, local projects, and weekend operations to ensure execution aligns with expectations.
  • Refine operational standards, develop differentiators, and “bullet-proof” setups and products.
  • Improve driver and A-driver productivity while reducing road-time to support work-life balance.
  • Provide market intelligence, including trends, competition, and client feedback, to company leadership.
  • Offer operational planning and execution recommendations with a long-term, six-month outlook.
  • Mentor and counsel staff to continually enhance quality of work.
  • Facilitate the growth and optimization for all Texas sites.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity with operational processes, technical infrastructure, equipment, and day-to-day challenges in the field.
  • Absolute commitment to completing the job efficiently and with pride.
  • Strong people-management skills and a focus on employee development.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Exceptional communication, planning, organization, and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to ensure 100% execution and be present to solve problems as they arise.

Education:

  • Any combination of education and experience, demonstrating the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of assigned duties.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience/skills.
  • 5 years of experience in related industry.

Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; move fingers and hands, ability to stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch. Perform the essential duties with minimal or no supervision. Lift and carry up to 50lbs and drag 185lbs.
