Rice Fergus Miller is seeking a Project Architect or Job Captain with a passion for Hospitality, Housing and/or Healthcare environments. Essential Functions:
- Previous work on hospitality, housing or healthcare projects of varying sizes and complexities
- Manage the deliverables for the team within the greater project deliverable schedule
- Oversee the preparation of detailed code and zoning analysis
- Experience and interest in growing in project management duties: contracts, scope, schedule, fee, workplan development, staff and resource management
- Experienced with working through all phases of project delivery from programming, concept development and production of work through construction administration and project close out
- Lead the project team in technical drawing production
- Quality Control and coordination of specifications with drawings for construction
- Ability to effectively partner with jurisdictional staff, project teams and clients
- Represent the firm well in communication & coordination with clients, consultants and team members
- Must be able to prioritize time efficiently and work collaboratively with clients and team members
- Management of small to medium-sized projects that require minimal oversight from the Principal in Charge; may be working solo or with small teams up to 3 people
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Architecture from an accredited program preferred
- Architectural license or be in the process of obtaining license
- Proficient in Revit, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- 8 years of hospitality, housing or healthcare related design, planning and management

Vacation Pay of 2 to 4 weeks per year, depending on years in career

This position is a exempt position with a pay range of $66,443 to $99,664 per year.
