Sr. Payroll Specialist (Flexible)

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Sr. Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will apply accounting and payroll competencies in considerably difficult situations and use critical-thinking skills to solve complex problems. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer solutions that align with best-in-practice payroll procedures. In addition, the role requires using your expertise in payroll taxes and compliance-related topics to improve processes and efficiencies. The ideal candidate also possesses proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job, including payroll accounting, payroll journal entries, and payroll taxes and law/compliance.

A day on the job looks like this: 

• Preparing and reconciling IRS 941 forms 
• Processing weekly and semimonthly payrolls (including domestic and international) 
• Processing external audit and reporting requests 
• Supporting the needs of Payroll, HR and Accounting teams 
• Supporting the needs of our internal customers 

Got the skills and experience? Here's what we're looking for: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field 
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation 
• Strong knowledge of FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) 
• Experience with tax changes and files including W2 and W2C 
• A minimum of 7+ years of payroll experience 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills 
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a collaborative work environment 
• Superb accuracy and attention to detail 
• A sense of urgency and a "can-do" attitude 
• Experience with international payrolls a plus

• Salary: $87,000 -$105,000 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
