Job Description

Job Title: F/T Fin Machine Operator

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 Hourly

Location: Dallas, Texas 75247

Hours/Days: Monday through Friday 5am-1:15pm (30 min lunch)

Scope of Position:

Working under the general direction of the supervisor or lead person, performs a wide variety of duties associated with fin tube and metal fabrication equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Knows, understands and uses the appropriate safety equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Understands paperwork accountability when charging time to specific work orders as well as the payroll system.
Reads and interprets blueprints.
Understands how to safely operate powered hand tools.
Accurately read a tape measure.
Ability to identify quality issues on varied product.
Ability to load and position product.
Understands punch and die technology.
Know how to inspect appropriate fin spacing.
Know how to adjust equipment for necessary fin spacing.
Ability to operate tube expanding equipment properly.
Operates tube bending equipment accurately.
Demonstrated ability to download prints for inspection.
Maintains area hygiene above industry standards.
Develop and maintain solid employee morale and safety awareness.
Adheres to safety and environmental rules.
Performs general housekeeping.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

1-year hands on tube bending / expanding machine operating experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic math skills.
Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
