Agile SAFe Project and Scrum Development Manager

GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly experienced remote Agile SAFe Project and Scrum Development Manager to support GAMA-1’s growing delivery and cloud services practice.  This is a mid to senior level position supporting cloud computing/DevOps, Scrum Development, JIRA services, and the full project management lifecycle. The candidate will support a variety of projects to evaluate emerging technologies and solutions for the enterprise. Ideal candidates will have strong technical aptitude, Agile SAFe management and scrum development skills.

The candidate will be responsible for the quality of the product, from code architecture to end-user quality. As well as team engagement to include code reviews to ensure team members are contributing code that meets the short and long-term goals of the program and provide input into the technology choices for the program. The candidate is expected to be a team builder and participate in the team hiring process. It is essential the Project Development Manager acts as a partner and mentor participating in one-on-one meetings, giving feedback, and coaching. The successful candidate will mentor engineers listening to ideas and build a culture of trust.

The candidate will need to be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment. The Agile SAFe Development Manager will collaborate with the AWS Cloud Architect and AWS DevOps/Automation Engineer in architecting, configuring, and testing AWS cloud native services to implement an authoritative data environment using AWS services.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The successful candidate must be self-driven and possess the analytical skills to resolve challenging technical issues, often through collaboration with other technical subject matter experts. 

• Process and Policy analyze/review and implementation; gap/trend analysis, reporting, issue/problem identification, continuous improvements, and training sessions for team
• Strategic planning at the program level
• Scrum Master/Scaled Agile Training, Best Practices implementation
• Project Management including business processes, plans, policies, resources, and project support throughout project lifecycle into O Project planning, budget, and schedule management; Asana and Smartsheet
• JIRA and Confluence Administration
• Website Management, Development/Design, and planning
• Communications and outreach support
• Data Management planning and implementation
• ISO Documentation, Review, and Assessment
• Quality assurance and Quality checks on processes and workflows
• Strong familiarity with modern DevOps principles, practices, methods, and tools.
• Provide implementation guidance/support to the customer throughout the project life cycle.

 EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline; MS Preferred
• In-depth understanding of cloud computing technologies, IT business drivers, and emerging computing trends and technologies.
• 5+ years of experience with IT Project Management and Development 
• 3+ years of experience in Agile SAFe Project Management 
• 3+ years of experience applying JIRA Administration and Training
• Working knowledge of FEDRAMP and extensive experience applying best practices for building/deploying secure and reliable services 
• Experience using coding languages such as Perl, Java, PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, etc.
• Preferred Certifications: Professional Management Professional (PMP), SAFe Agile, and Scrum Master
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
