Maintenance Technician

Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electro-mechanical machine maintenance and repair. We are the largest job shop in the pacific northwest with machinery to cut, fabricate and assemble a wide range of products in a variety of industries. We have many different types and styles of machinery and need a well rounded maintenance technician on our team who understands both manual and CNC.

Responsibilities:
·       Possess a strong hands on attitude and aptitude with full working knowledge of industrial electrical, electronic, PLC controls, computerized components, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components of CNC and manual machine tool equipment.
·       Be able to successfully apply knowledge and aptitude to perform diagnose and repair any given symptom or problem on production CNC and manual machine equipment.
·       Read and understand all diagrams & schematics and engineering prints of - mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Knowledge of CNC programming format(s) and machining concepts is helpful.
·       Have good communication skills with OEM machine parts & technical representatives and production personnel.
·       Specific experience with Fanuc, and Heidenhain controls will be a benefit.

Qualifications:
·       Have a working knowledge of basic diameter - depth - length measurement instruments, dial indicators and electrical meters and other testing equipment.
·       Have a willingness to openly and freely share ones knowledge and experience with fellow maintenance personnel. Meet all requirements for documentation, reporting and logging of maintenance activities as directed by supervisor, lead man or departmental procedures.
·       Possess good housekeeping habits in all areas of jobs assignments and to mark/label/document/store disassembled parts in proper location(s) during a long term maintenance project.
·       Be fully aware and committed to apply and uphold company and departmental guidelines for LOCK-OUT / TAG OUT, Arc Flash, forklift, man-lift, bridge-jib crane use and safety practices, and other maintenance procedures.
·       Must stay focused and time line conscious of assigned job(s) and a self-starter that requires minimal supervision.
