Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Senior Credit Risk Analyst conducts research and designs appropriate management reports as required to assist senior management in analyzing the credit risk exposure.
- Assists in the analysis of proposed credit arrangements negotiated with a member and associated with the approval of a loan/advance/letter of credit to meet the specific financing and asset liability management needs of the member.
- Responsible for accessing various external sources to obtain credit information on members from regulatory agencies, corporate financial statements, earnings reports, and other information related to the financial condition of the member, and to incorporate this information into the credit files as required.
- Based on the analyses of all the credit information collected, recommend collateral status and internal credit rating of members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelors degree with a major in finance, accounting or economics
2. 5+ years as a federal regulator, bank examiner. (OCC, FRB, or
FDIC)
3. Strong knowledge of S&P Market Intelligence (SNL)
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy coupled with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
5. Solid communication and interpersonal skills
