Precision Grinding Machine Operator

Shift Times

2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm ($1.00 shift differential included in hourly wage)

3rd: 10pm-6:30am ($1.50 shift differential included in hourly wage)

We are seeking a new Precision Grinding Machine Operator to join our team at our premier tool manufacturing company, dedicated to quality, consistency, service, and value.

What You Will Do:

• Operate grinding machinery used in the manufacturing of precision cutting tools
• Load, unload, sort, count, and check quality of drills
• Make minor adjustments to controls to maintain quality standards
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, rulers, and scopes to ensure quality
• Complete paperwork accurately for proper documentation of operations
• Communicate machine and quality status to Setups and Leads
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
• Participate in various continual improvement efforts
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Full time (40 hours/week), timely and consistent attendance
• Training is provided

What You Will Bring:

• High School or GED
• Available to work full time (40 hours/week) on 2nd shift, meeting attendance requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to perform basic math operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
