Production Worker

Title:  Production Worker

As a Production Worker, you will kit cable system assemblies.  You will be required to use hand tools, electronic tooling, and machines for coiling, cutting cable, and packaging. Work with Quality & Inventory control, and Shipping. All tasks and responsibilities are given appropriate and required training by management and peers.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities include:

• Strong work ethic.  Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
• Familiarity with pneumatic tools, die press machinery, swager, and general rigging techniques.  Use of measuring tools, interpret visual aids, and general math competency.
• Following established methods and procedures, company protocol, and standard operating procedures (SOP) documented by the Operations Department.
• Handling cable assemblies. Lifting, and moving heavy product.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized work environment.
• Awareness, understanding and enforcement of all Feeney & OSHA safety regulations.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Work tends to be repetitive in nature and strong attention to detail is required.
• Special projects, tasks as assigned.

Machine related:

• Cut to length machine-Input cut lengths and quantities, coiling of cables, labeling. 
• Hydraulic press-Swage terminations to cables, ability to measure the after swage mechanically and visually.
• Weigh scale-Calibrate, input SKU’s and quantities.
• Forklift- Will need certification.
• Pallet Jack- Ability to operate and maneuver.

Orders/Picking tickets:

Ability to understand orders and execute assemblies, picking of components, kitting, construct cartons and submit completed orders to the shipping department. 

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or three (3) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.  Ability to effectively communicate information, through speech, written and face-to-face interaction, with other employees of the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands.  The employee must regularly push, pull, lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.   Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
