Job Summary and Qualifications

The Social Worker is part of the integrated Hospital team who collaborates with patients and their families to support patients coping with social, emotional, economic and environmental problems. The social worker works jointly with community and health staff on social matters that may affect present and future health needs of patients. The social worker may be called upon to act as a liaison for the medical and social issues that may arise and communicates information and recommendations to management as needed. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • (LCSW) Clinical Social Worker must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an Accredited University
  • Five years of experience in a health care setting
