As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing ABA therapy in the home. Your job is to be an agent of positive change in the life of a child who can be experiencing language delays and/or behavioral challenges. As the most critical member of the child’s therapy team, you will work alongside your clinical supervisor to bring about profound change in the lives of children with autism.

- Morning, Afternoon and Evening Schedules
- Flexible Scheduled Days Monday through Saturday
- Multiple Work Locations
Current Openings:
- Baltimore County (Pikesville area - afternoon and evening shifts)
- Prince Georges County (Hyattsville, Upper Marlboro, Ft. Washington - afternoon and evening shifts)
Behavior Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism 3 – 5 days per week.
- Actively participate in meetings and trainings
- Implement Feedback in the Moment from Clinical Supervisors
- Bring a positive, creative, energetic and compassionate attitude to each treatment session
- Be punctual and responsible
- Collect Data throughout treatment sessions
- Complete daily session treatment notes
- Maintain the safety and dignity of the children being treated
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Must be a committed and compassionate person with a strong desire to help children and families
- Previous experience working with children
- Must be reliable, consistent and have a strong work ethic
- Must have a High School Diploma
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Must pass a State and Federal Background Check
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Physical Requirements For Working with Young Children:
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to be in a kneeling position
- Ability to bend over frequently
- Ability to get up from the floor with ease
- Ability to run and play with children
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special needs, e.g., autism or developmental delays strongly preferred
- Ability to work well independently and seek assistance when needed
- Possess strong attention to detail for data collection
- Organized, flexible, able to follow instructive guidance and willing to take constructive feedback
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain client confidentiality
- Record of success in previous positions as evidenced by excellent references
- Comfortable using technology

- Compensation and Training Benefits:
$20-30/hour for the first year with the ability to earn yearly raises - Extensive training and supervision provided by Cabrini Care
