Job Title: Traffic Engineer

Location: Duluth, GA

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traffic Engineer to join our team. As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing traffic control systems to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic on roads and highways.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement traffic control systems to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic on roads and highways
• Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to identify traffic patterns and potential safety hazards
• Develop and implement traffic management plans to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that traffic control systems are integrated with other transportation systems
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest traffic engineering technologies and trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering
• Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in traffic engineering software such as Synchro, VISSIM, and AutoCAD
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
