Location: Ennis, TX - Hybrid WFH 2 days per week
Salary: $150,000 to $165,000 + 15% Bonus (OTE = $172k - $189k)

Controller (Manufacturing exp req) Description

Our client in the outdoor security solutions industry, is looking for a Controller to add to their team in Ennis, TX. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for partnering with the VP/GM of the business as well as supporting the Plant Manager on budgets, forecasts, and oversee all accounting and finance functions. You will manage a team of 3 accountants and partially manage overseas accounting staff. You will be involved in all aspects of strategic decision making, improving plant profitability, preparing the annual budget, estimates and forecasts as well as reporting the financial results. To be successful in this role you must have experience with cost accounting in the manufacturing industry. Ideal candidates will be seasoned accounting leaders, with excellent financial reporting and analysis skills. Controller (Manufacturing exp req) Responsibilities

•    Partner with the VPGM and provide strategic direction to the business
•    Analyze feasibility of new product launches
•    Support the Sales and the Estimating team in bid reviews, providing cost, and cash flow
•    Provide input to negotiate the commercial terms and conditions
•    Track and improve Customer, Projects, and SKU profitability
•    Identify inefficiencies, understand  operations and lead the development of complex analysis
•    Prepare forecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows
•    Manage month-end closing 
•    Prepare monthly financial statements and other operational  reports
•    Analyze variances (Material/Labour/Overheads)
•    Ensure robust process and controls around project accounting
•    Implement a new Project accounting and Manufacturing software
•    Monitor and implement plant internal controls

Controller (Manufacturing exp req) Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
•    5+ years Sr-Level Finance or accounting experience required
•    3+ years supervisory experience required
•    Manufacturing industry experience required
•    Cost accounting experience required
•    ERP experience required required
