Senior Project & Program Manager

Location, North San francisco Bay Area, CA

(Candidates must live in a commutable distance from Napa , CA)

Contract, 6 mos. with strong possibility this will be extended to 12 mos or a contract to perm

Rate: Market, Open, best (W-2 contract ;Only USC/GC/EADs/TNV)

Must have direct experience with the project aspects of building/deploying large scale initiatives that may include new office buildings and facilities, hotels, resorts, equestrian parks, hospitals, manufacturing factories, etc.

  · IT projects should consist of major deployments (10,000+ user type scale) of Networking (LAN, WAN, Wireless), Audio/Visual/Video systems, cabling, Computers/Servers, cyber security systems, etc.  

MANDATORY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

· Sr level Program manager, 10+ years direct experience

· Experience leading complex projects serving as chief leader over extended team - Project Managers, vendors, engineers, etc.

· Has managed complex technical IT related programs/projects with multiple work streams

· Top line responsibilities to lead, represent, organize and own the deliverables for the project team

· Able to create master project plans, contingency planning, complex work breakdown structures, resource and project budget management

· Has worked with diverse extended project partners, suppliers, construction companies, utilities, Telco, etc. as related to master IT planning and execution purposes

· Able to understand and create Statement of Works (SOW), participate with presales and post sales activities including discovery phase thru project completion

· Has managed both direct and indirect (matrixed) team members including PM’s, engineers, architects, developers, etc.
