AP Specialist

We're seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relations, and ensuring accurate financial records within the JD Edwards system – all specifically tailored to the agriculture industry.

Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness within JD Edwards
Apply industry-specific knowledge to ensure proper coding and account distribution
Maintain positive relationships with vendors through timely communication and inquiries
Reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies
Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 year of experience in accounts payable
Proven experience working with JD Edwards software
Working knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
Familiarity with agricultural accounting a plus
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
