Our Crisis and Respite Program offers vital support to individuals experiencing acute crises, providing a safe and supportive environment for family stabilization and financial empowerment.

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee our Crisis and Respite Program. The Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of program operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients in crisis. This role requires strong leadership skills, and a commitment to promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and empowerment.

Salary: $55,000 to $58,000 per year, with benefits, based on experience and available funding

Responsibilities:
  1. Program Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Crisis and Respite Program, including staff scheduling, client intake, and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor program outcomes and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  1. Supervision and Training:
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to program staff, including crisis counselors and support workers.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professional development, and accountability.
  1. Clinical Oversight:
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to assess client needs and develop individualized crisis intervention plans.
  • Provide consultation and support to staff in managing complex cases and crisis situations.
  • Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and ethical standards in service delivery.
  1. Community Engagement:
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the program at community meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Advocate for the needs of individuals experiencing mental health crises and promote awareness of available resources.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess program effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client records and program activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required.
  • Master's degree in Social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in family crisis intervention or similar.
  • Minimum 3 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and community partners.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must possess a Valid Driver's License
  • Must have current automobile insurance for transporting clients
  • Willingness to obtain a Class E Driver's License within 30 days of hire
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
